61 Oaks Collective exists to revitalize churches and restore hope by providing practical support, resources, and ministry services. Inspired by Isaiah 61:3, we strive to help churches come back to life through coaching, counseling, mission trips, preaching, and creative ministries like coffee shops that foster community and connection.
Who we are
61 Oaks Collective was born out of a calling God placed on my life through years of ministry—serving as a pastor, teacher, missionary, and now founder. I am Alex “Costa” Araya, and together with my wife Sandy, we launched this nonprofit to help churches and leaders rediscover purpose, health, and hope.
With over 15 years of experience in local church ministry, a Master of Divinity from Liberty University, and ongoing doctoral work in Christian Apologetics at Southwestern Seminary, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that churches face. Many are struggling, discouraged, or simply stuck—and we believe God isn’t done with them.
Church revitalization is part of my family’s story. My parents have over 30 years of ministry experience, faithfully helping churches across Latin America and the U.S. find new life. Their wisdom, love for the local church, and hands-on experience are foundational to our work. I’m grateful that both of them, along with my wife and myself, serve together as part of the 61 Oaks Collective team.
Rooted in Isaiah 61:3, 61 Oaks exists to help churches come back to life. Through coaching, preaching, apologetics, and missions, we equip leaders and strengthen ministries so they can thrive again—for the glory of God and the good of His people.
